Why High School Choice is a Spiritual Matter
Discerning the right high school for your son or daughter is a spiritual matter.
Why? Because our culture is confused and changing fast. But the classical Catholic tradition is an oasis, a safe haven.
That's why we're inviting you to our open houses throughout the school year, at the campus we share with Holy Martyrs parish (120 Allison Road in Oreland, near Flourtown or Ft. Washington).
A Martin Saints education looks outward and upward, with realism about the world, but also with hope and joy. A Martin Saints education is a passport to Catholic excellence, a world rich in truth, beauty, goodness, adventure, service, and worship.
Who will be your son or daughter's friends in high school? Who will be the other parents in your family's life, the other elders in your family's village? What will your children be studying in school? Who will be their teachers, their mentors, for eight hours a day?
Who are your allies in passing the faith to your children? Who is on tap to offer your son or daughter not only the academic excellence they will need in college, but also the spiritual joy and fortitude they need (both now and in the future) to flourish as a human being in these difficult times in our church and in our country?
I have profound confidence in the Martin Saints faculty, parents, and students. This is the team you want for four formative high school years.
Mrs. Nicole Gibboni, a Martin Saints mom, made a two-minute video explaining what this school means for her and her family. To see it, click on this link or below.
After you've enjoyed the video - and maybe said a prayer over it - please come check us out at one of our open houses.
Please consider inviting a friend, or forwarding this article.
If you can't make it to an open house date, or would like to speak personally with Martin Saints leadership about admissions or any other matter, please call 267-495-4865 or email our board present, Deacon Chris Roberts, or our headmaster, Mr. Adam Dickerson, anytime.
