Financial News from Martin Saints

Martin Saints is pleased to announce that we have received two exceptionally generous, sacrificial pledges. With your help, matching gifts could make these gifts worth $150,000.

Would you please consider a year-end gift?

Here is the situation:

Last week, an anonymous donor who believes in our mission pledged $50,000. This brought tears to our eyes and had us on our knees in thanksgiving. But then this gift inspired a second major donor to offer a matching challenge: any new gifts made between now and December 31st will be matched dollar for dollar, up to another $50,000.

In other words, we have the opportunity to raise $150,000 in the next two weeks: 50K from the first donor, plus 50K from your new donations matched by 50K from the second donor.

Every gift counts, no matter how small or large, since all will be matched/doubled until we reach $50,000.

At Martin Saints, we are trying to do a new thing in Catholic education. We believe that our culture is changing. To form young people for faithful living in the current situation, we in the Church need to dare to try something new and bold. This school is something real and tangible that we can offer to God.

Our students begin each school day with Mass and we constantly foreground Catholic identity in everything we do. Our curriculum is classical and supplemented with regular outdoor adventure, cultural excursions, and the corporal works of mercy. Our school motto comes from St. Irenaeus: the glory of God is man fully alive.

If you believe in the MSC mission...if you want a school like this to exist and flourish...if you believe that a school like Martin Saints can be a beacon and a leaven for the wider church in Philadelphia...then please consider making a contribution before the end of 2017. What is happening at this school is exciting and humbling. It certainly feels like the Holy Spirit is at work, and we offer everything to Him and seek to be completely transparent and available for whatever our Lord has in mind.

You can donate via credit card directly from our homepage - www.martinsaintsclassical.org - or you can mail a check to the address at the bottom of this email. If you have any questions or concerns about the best way to do this, please contact Deacon Christopher Roberts, our board president, either by email or at school, 267-495-4865 (ext. 110).

Merry Christmas, and thank you for your consideration.
